Prior to retirement, I was a Senior Lecturer at the University of Birmingham (UK).

Bachelor of Arts (BA) (University of Cambridge) - Part III of the Tripos, specialising in NT studies

Master of Philosophy (MPhil) (University of London) - topic, The Use of Scripture in Liberation

Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) (The Radboud University, Nijmegen, The Netherlands) - topic, Christian Mission as Dialogue: Engaging the Current epistemological predicament of the West.

Current Studies

All related to Christian mission in a Western context, especially on the question of human identity in a secular, post-Christian environment, currently dominated by critical theory and hostility to Christian faith.
