Dr Stephen Rankin

Stephen Rankin hails from Kansas in the United States. His PhD in religious studies from Northwestern University concentrated on John Wesley and early Methodism and their interactions with the Enlightenment. His main research interest lies in  the linkages between the intellect and the affections as they pertain especially to doctrine and the Christian life, of soteriology and anthropology. It reaches into the philosophical with reference to the higher cognitive emotions and to moral development in psychology.
