Michael McClenahan is Professor of Systematic Theology at Union.
Iām particularly interested in discussing projects on the context, life, thought, and legacy of Jonathan Edwards (1703ā1758), modern Trinitarian theology (anyone from Karl Barth onwards, except Paul Tillich), and the religious culture of Victorian England. More generally I am happy to consider projects in Reformed theology and ethics broadly defined. I have recently had two doctoral students complete their research. One wrote a dissertation on Samuel Rutherford and the covenant of redemption, another offered a dogmatic defence of the doctrine of eternal generation of the Son of God.
