Dr Stephen Moore

My research focuses on the social, economic, and legal history of Mesopotamia in the early second millennium (c. 2000-1600 BC). Current lines of research are reflected in recent publications. Details of a current book project, supported by a British Academy Small Research Grant, can be found here). I am happy to discuss projects in my areas of research, or to consider projects studying legal sources and traditions in the ancient Near East more generally.
